Building on the experience and knowledge gained by our global family medicine community through the COVID-19 pandemic, five teams of dyads—which include a Canadian and an international partner developed the Family Medicine (FM) Pivot Modules.
The initiative features theme-based interactive educational components, webinars, platforms for discussion, and opportunities for sharing of resources. Topics focus on specific global health emergency related competencies within five themes: chronic disease, community-based research, disaster preparedness, mental health, and virtual education.
