Ahead of COP27, ISNTD Climate & Health is organizing a series of panels and presentations on the theme of the impact of climate change on diseases, with a focus on tropical diseases.
This two-day event will chart research into the linkages between climate, diseases and vectors or hosts, and global health. This event will also aim to open up discussions around the challenges and partnerships needed to fully realize the impact that the field of global health can make in terms of resilience, response and adaptation to climate events. In this way the conference is aiming to frame: climate change as a global health issue, and those working in the fields of infectious diseases and global health as crucial stakeholders in complex climate change discussions.
