Event Details:

Malaria infections among children under 5 remain high despite substantial investment. The use of photovoice methodology as a community-based participatory research technique has surged in health research. We used this method to explore primary caregivers’ (PCGs) experiences with the RTS, S malaria vaccine pilot in Ghana.A longitudinal qualitative design was adopted. Four themes were identified from the inductive analysis of the data: acceptability, concerns, healthcare system, and reactions to the vaccination experience over time. In this Knowledge Exchange Café session, you will learn more about this project in Ghana through a featured presentation, live discussion, and a Q & A segment.
