In response to recent retirements and program expansion, The School of Epidemiology and Public Health (SEPH) at the University of Ottawa is seeking to recruit four tenure-track professors at the rank of Assistant Professor. SEPH is seeking to augment capacity in the following priority areas:
- Methodological: biostatistics, economic evaluation/health economics, mixed methods, qualitative methods.
- Content Areas: interventional designs, global health, health policy, implementation science, public health.
SEPH is a vibrant interdisciplinary environment with research and teaching foci in multiple health-related fields. It is comprised of over 150 primary-, cross-, and adjunct-appointed faculty. SEPH confers MSc and PhD degrees in Epidemiology (with the graduate program undergoing a major modification) and Master of Public Health. It oversees the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency program and contributes to undergraduate medical education training.
